The Palliser coat of arms

arms.jpg

Coats of Arms are bestowed on individual people,
not on families.
Therefore, not everyone of the same surname
automatically shares a coat of arms.

The arms shown here are those of the descendants of John Palliser of Newby Wiske (1577-1623), and not necessarily of any other
Palliser or Pallister family.

This visual was altered by myself, from the arms of Sir William Palliser,
as illustrated in Burke's Landed Gentry (vol II) 1898, which included the quartering of the Bury (Earls of Charleville) family. They therefore do not pertain to any other Palliser family, and should not be copied from this site.
